MOCK BEEF BOURGUIGNON 
3 lbs. lean stew beef
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 lg. clove garlic, minced
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. plain bread crumbs
Dash of salt & pepper
1/2 c. dry red wine
2 cans Campbell's beef consomme
4 to 6 fresh quartered carrots
3 to 4 fresh potatoes, cubed
1/2 c. parsley

Place beef, onions and garlic in Dutch oven. combine flour and bread crumbs and salt and pepper. Sprinkle over beef and toss to coat. Stir in wine and beef consomme. Bake 1 1/2 hours covered. Then add carrots, potatoes and parsley. Continue to bake 1/2 hour. Then remove cover and bake for additional 30 minutes.
