SOFT ITALIAN COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter, melted
3/4 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 c. flour
5 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla extract

Cream together first 3 ingredients. Add the flour and other ingredients. If too wet, add more flour until batter is easy to handle. Roll into balls about the size of a walnut. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 to 10 minutes, or until firm to touch and bottoms are golden brown. Cool before frosting.

NOTE: You can freeze these before frosting.

FROSTING:

1 c. confectioners' sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavor
Food coloring, if desired
Enough milk to make light consistency

Add sprinkles after frosting. Makes about 60 cookies.
