POTLUCK POTATOES 
1 (2 lb.) bag frozen hash brown potatoes (thawed)
1 sm. onion, chopped
1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (16 oz.) container sour cream
1 (16 oz.) bag shredded cheddar cheese

Mix all the above ingredients together and place in a 9 x 13-inch pan.

Mix 1/2 cup butter (melted) with 2 cups crushed cornflakes. Sprinkle on top of potato mixture. Bake 1 hour 15 minutes at 350 degrees. Cover with foil first 20 minutes to keep topping from browning too much. Serves 12.
