OREO COOKIE CAKE 
1 lb. Oreo cookies
1 (8 oz.) pkg. soft cream cheese
2 (8 oz.) cartons whipped topping
Maraschino cherries
1 c. melted butter
1 c. confectioners sugar
1 lg. pkg. instant chocolate pudding

Crush cookies and set aside 1/2 cup. Mix remaining crumbs with butter and press into 9x15-inch pan. Refrigerate 1 hour. Mix cream cheese, sugar and 1 carton of the whipped topping. Spread over cookie crust. Refrigerate for 1 hour.

Prepare pudding mix by direction on package. Spread over cheese mixture. Refrigerate for 1 hour. Top with second carton of whipped topping. Sprinkle remaining cookie crumbs over top. Garnish with maraschino cherries.
