BEEF STEW & DUMPLINGS 
2 lb. beef stew meat, cubed
2 tbsp. oil
4 c. boiling water
1 med. onion, chopped
1 tsp. lemon juice
1 tsp. Worcestershire
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 bay leaves
1 tsp. paprika
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
1 clove garlic, minced

Put all ingredients in Dutch oven and simmer 2 hours. Add desired raw vegetables and cook 20 minutes until tender.

FOR DUMPLINGS:

1 1/2 c. flour
3 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk

Mix together. Drop by tablespoonful on top of stew. Cook covered for 12 minutes.
