1/2 c. butter
1/4 tsp. vanilla
8 oz. cream cheese
1 egg
1/3 c. sugar
2 c. apples, pared and sliced
1/3 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. vanilla
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. almonds

Cream butter, sugar, and vanilla. Blend in flour. Spread on bottom and up sides of a 9-inch springform pan.

Combine cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla. Pour into pan on above ingredients. combine sugar, cinnamon, and apples spoon over cheese. Sprinkle almonds on top. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes and 350 degrees for 25 minutes.
