SOUR CREAM COFFEE CAKE II | |
1 c. butter, softened 1 c. brown sugar 1 c. granulated sugar 1 tsp. vanilla 1 c. sour cream 2 c. flour 1 tsp. baking powder 2 eggs TOPPING: 1/2 c. chopped nuts 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/4 c. butter 2 tbsp. flour 1 tsp. cinnamon Cream butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla; mix thoroughly. Gradually add flour and baking powder and alternately with sour cream. Mix well. Pour 1/2 batter in greased tube pan or greased 13"x9" pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 topping. Cover with remainder of batter and then topping. Bake at 350 degrees for 55 to 60 minutes for tube pan and 30 to 35 minutes for 13"x9" pan. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar when cool. |
