2 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening
2 eggs
Salt
2/3 c. cocoa
1 c. sour milk
2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. boiling water (add last)

Put in greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 45-50 minutes.
