HOLIDAY YAMS 
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar, packed
2 tbsp. corn starch
1/2 c. orange juice
1/4 c. butter
Salt to taste
4 to 5 med. sweet potatoes

Peel, slice and cook sweet potatoes until almost done. Combine sugar and cornstarch; blend well. Stir in orange juice, butter and salt. Simmer over low heat, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.

Place sweet potatoes (which have been drained) in butter-greased casserole dish; and pour orange sauce over the potatoes. Bake in a 350 degree oven just until light brown and bubbling.
