FRENCH BREAKFAST PUFFS 
1/3 c. Crisco
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1 1/2 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 c. milk

Cream shortening, add sugar and egg. Sift dry ingredients and stir in alternately with milk. Fill greased muffin tins 2/3 full. Bake until golden brown at 350 degrees. Immediately roll muffins in 6 tablespoons melted butter and then in mixture of 1/2 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon.
