PEAR RELISH 
1 peck pears, approx. 2 gal.
6 lg. onions
4 sweet red peppers
4 green peppers
3 hot peppers
1 tsp. salt
5 c. vinegar
4 c. sugar (2 lbs.)
1 tsp. mixed pickling spice

If soft pears are used cut into small pieces. If hard pears are used, grate. Cook 40 minutes after beginning to boiling stage. Cut pears will take a little longer.
