MARINATED FLANK STEAK 
1 1/2 to 2 lb. flank steak
3 lg. cloves garlic, slivered lengthwise
2 tbsp. lemon juice
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. honey
1/4 c. olive oil

Lightly score meat at 45 degree angle across the grain. Insert garlic slivers into slits. Mix lemon juice, soy sauce, honey and olive oil. Pour over meat and marinate 1 hour at room temperature or 10 hours in refrigerator. Grill 10-12 minutes over coals or broil 4 inches under heat in oven for medium-rare doneness. Slice thinly across the grain.
