BASIC SUGAR DOUGH 
2 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. butter, room temp.
2/3 c. sugar
Yolks of 2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix flour and baking powder in large bowl. Beat butter and sugar until light and fluffy (this will be base for good dough). Beat in yolks and vanilla. When well blended, reduce speed on mixer to low and gradually beat in flour mixture. Dough will be soft. Makes about 2 3/4 cups dough.

Roll and cut cookies. Roll 1/4 inch thick. Pick up with pancake turner. Bake only to set dough, 350 degrees 8-10 minutes - do not let brown. These cookies will not raise much.
