QUICK AND EASY CHEESY SPAGHETTI

1 lb. ground chuck
1/2 c. onion, chopped
3 1/2 c. spaghetti sauce
12 oz. spaghetti
4 tbsp. butter
2 tbsp. + 2 tsp. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. evaporated milk
2/3 c. water
2 c. shredded American cheese
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese

Brown chuck and onion in frying pan. Drain thoroughly. Add spaghetti sauce. Simmer 10 minutes, covered. Break spaghetti into thirds. Cook according to package directions. Rinse and drain. Add to meat mixture.

Melt butter in saucepan. Stir in flour and salt. Slowly add evaporated milk and water. Cook over medium heat, stirring until thick. Add 1 cup shredded American and the Parmesan cheese; stir until melted.

Spread 1/2 spaghetti/meat mixture in bottom of 13x9 baking dish. Spoon 3/4 white sauce on top. Top with other 1/2 spaghetti and last 1/4 white sauce. Sprinkle on remaining American cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
