COCOA PEANUT BUTTER KISSES | |
1 c. all-purpose flour 1/4 c. unsweetened cocoa 1 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. butter at room temperature 3/4 c. creamy peanut butter 1/3 and 1/4 c. white sugar 1/3 c. packed light brown sugar 1 lg. egg 2 tbsp. milk 1 tsp. vanilla 48 kisses (9 oz.) bag) Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix flour, cocoa and baking soda. Beat butter and peanut butter in a large bowl with mixer until creamy. Add 1/3 cup sugar (white) and brown sugar; beat until fluffy. Beat in egg, milk and vanilla until well blended. On low speed gradually beat in flour mixture just until blended. Shape heaping teaspoonfuls into balls. Roll in remaining 1/4 cup sugar. Place 1 1/2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 10-12 minutes until firm. Immediately place a chocolate kiss on each cookie, pressing down so that cookies crack around edge. Makes 48 cookies. 98 calories per cookie. |
