CHOCOLATE MACAROON SQUARES 
1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 egg
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can flaked coconut, divided
1 c. chopped pecans
1 (6 oz.) pkg. (1 c.) semi-sweet chocolate chips

BASE:

1 (18 1/2 oz.) pkg. chocolate cake mix
1/3 c. butter, softened
1 egg

Topping: In large bowl, combine milk, vanilla and egg. Beat until well blended. Stir in 1 cup coconut, pecans and chocolate chips. Set aside.

Base: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In large bowl, combine cake mix, butter and egg. Mix until crumbly. Press into greased 13 x 9 inch pan. Spread topping over base. Sprinkle remaining coconut on top. Bake 30-40 minutes. Center may appear loose but will set upon cooling. Cool completely on wire rack. Cut into 2 inch squares.
