WAFFLES 
2 c. sifted Swans Down cake flour
2 tsp. Calumet baking powder
1 c. milk
3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
1/2 tsp. salt
3 egg yolks, well beaten
4 tbsp. melted butter

Sift flour once; measure, add baking powder, and salt, and sift again. Combine egg yolks and milk. Add to flour mixture, beating until smooth. Add butter.

Fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in hot waffle iron. This batter may be also baked on hot griddle.
