1 box Butter Recipe Duncan Hines cake mix
1 (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges
3/4 c. Crisco oil
4 eggs

Beat well. Cook at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 3 layers.

ICING:

1 lg. Cool Whip
1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 lg. box instant vanilla pudding

Mix pudding and pineapple well. Add Cool Whip. Let cake cool and add icing. Optional: Add strawberries between layers. Refrigerate at least one hour before serving.
