PLUM BREAD 
2 c. flour
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1 c. salad oil
3 eggs, beaten
1 1/2 jars Jr. Baby food plums
1 c. chopped nuts

Jr. plums only seem to come with tapioca but it's ok.

Combine dry ingredients. Stir in oil and beaten eggs. Blend well. Stir in plums. Beat 2 minutes until well blended. Stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes for large pan, about 40 minutes for medium loaf pans. While loaf is warm, brush with glaze.

GLAZE:

1/3 c. butter
1/4 c. milk
1/2 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. baking soda

Boil 3 minutes until smooth and clear. Brush on loaf. Cool thoroughly before freezing.
