12 eggs
1 1/2 lbs. powdered sugar (3 c.)
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar

Beat egg yolks real stiff. Add sugar and spices. Then beat egg whites real stiff with cream of tartar. Mix yolk and white mixture with wire spoon. Pour 1/3 cup egg mixture into a heavy mug and fill with hot water and serve.
