FROSTED STRAWBERRY SALAD 
1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed or 1 c. fresh strawberries + 2 tbsp. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jello
1 c. miniature marshmallows
2 tbsp. flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
2 tsp. butter
4 oz. Cool Whip
1/2 c. chopped pecans
2 bananas, sliced

Drain pineapple, reserving 1 cup juice; set aside. Prepare Jello according to package directions; using only 1 cup of the cold water. Stir in pineapple, strawberries, bananas and marshmallows. Pour mixture into casserole and chill until firm.

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in small saucepan. Add reserved pineapple juice and butter; mix well. Cook over medium heat and cool completely. Then mix in the Cool Whip and pecans and spread mixture over gelatin. Keep refrigerated until time to serve.

Recipe may be cut in half by using half of all the ingredients.
