HAMBURGER CORN PONE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/3 c. chopped onion
2 tsp. chili powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 (8 oz.) can tomatoes
1 c. kidney beans
1/2 pkg. Jiffy corn muffin mix

Brown beef and onion. Add seasonings and tomatoes. Cover and simmer 15 minutes. Add beans and pour into greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Prepare corn muffin mix according to directions on box. Spread carefully over casserole with wet knife. Bake 20 minutes in 425 degree oven. Serves 4.

NOTE: I usually double this recipe in large casserole and use all the corn muffin batter.
