CITRUS ICEBOX CAKE SAUCE 
Juice and rind of 2 oranges
4 eggs, beaten
1 pt. whipping cream
Juice and rind of 2 lemons
1 1/2 c. sugar

Beat eggs. Add sugar, juices and grated peel. Cook in top of double boiler until it coats spoon. Cool. Whip pint of whipping cream and fold into custard. Spread over slices of lemon, orange, or angel food cake.
