FIG JAM 
5 c. mashed figs
2 1/2 lb. sugar
1/2 c. water
1 box sure - jell
1/2 c. sugar
2 (6 oz.) boxes Jello (wild raspberry, cherry or strawberry)

Bring fruit and sure jell to fast boil. Add sugar. Boil 1 minute. Skim and stir 5 minutes with metal spoon.
