BEEF CURRY 
1 1/2 tbsp. oil
1 med. onion (rings)
2 to 3 tsp. curry powder
1 1/2 lb. steak (1 inch cubes)
Mushrooms
1 tomato, diced
1 clove garlic
2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. sugar
About 2 c. water
2 tbsp. cornstarch
2 tbsp. water
3 c. cooked rice

Heat oil in skillet. Saute onion. Stir in curry powder. Cook 1 minute. Add beef cubes and next 5 ingredients. Cook beef cubes until lightly brown. Add enough water to cover beef. Cover and simmer gently 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Thicken with cornstarch and water, serve over rice.
