SWEDISH CHOCOLATE BUTTER COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter, melted & cooled
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 egg white, slightly beaten
Chopped blanched almonds, mixed with sugar

Combine butter, sugar and eggs; beat thoroughly. Add vanilla, then flour sifted with baking powder and cocoa. Chill. Roll out quite thin and cut into shapes. Brush tops with slightly beaten egg white and sprinkle with almonds mixed with sugar. Put on greased cookie sheet and bake at 375 degrees for 5 to 7 minutes.
