CREAMED BROCCOLI AND CAULIFLOWER
SOUP
 
2 c. broccoli
2 c. cauliflower
1/2 c. water
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. basil
2 tbsp. butter
2 1/2 tbsp. flour
3 c. milk

In saucepan, combine broccoli, cauliflower, water, salt, and basil. Cook until tender. In separate pan, melt butter until lightly browned. Add flour and stir until smooth. Gradually add milk, stirring constantly, until thickened. Pour over vegetable mixture and stir until blended.
