4 POUNDS SAUSAGE STUFFING FOR TURKEY | |
3/4 c. parsley, finely chopped 1/4 c. celery, finely chopped 1 lemon, grated peel only Juice of 1/2 lemon 1 egg 1/2 loaf stale bread, cut sm. 1/2 lb. sausage 3/4 c. warm milk Season with salt to taste. Put bread crumbs to soak in warm milk. Fry sausage, get grease out as much as possible. Chop when cool then add to crumbs to milk. Add all other ingredients. Dot with butter. I then shape into balls and cook in oven 20 minutes or until brown. You may also put it in the breast of the turkey. Delicious cold. |
