3/4 c. corn meal
3/4 c. flour
2 tbsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
3 tbsp. butter
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
8 oz. jar Cheez Whiz
1 c. chopped tomatoes
1 tbsp. chili powder
4 oz. green chilies

Combine the dry ingredients. Add milk and butter, melted. Pour into a greased 8 inch baking dish. Brown the meat and drain. Add green pepper and cook until tender. Reserving 1/2 cup tomatoes and 1/3 cup cheese. Add remaining ingredients to meat. Spoon meat mixture over batter. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes. Top with remaining cheese and tomatoes. Cook another 5 minutes.
