2 c. apples, sliced thin
3/4 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter
1/2 box dry yellow cake mix
1/4 stick butter

Mix apples, sugar, cinnamon and 2 tablespoons butter and put in glass pie plate. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top. Slice 1/4 stick of butter and put on top of cake mix. Bake at 325 degrees until golden brown. May be served as is or with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
