MICROWAVE CHEDDAR CHEESE SAUCE 
Heat 1 cup milk 2 minutes on medium high. Set aside. Melt 2 tablespoons butter 1 minute on high. Stir in 2 tablespoons flour, heat 1 minute more on high. Briskly stir in warm milk. Blend well. Cook on high 2 1/2 minutes, or until boiling. Stir in 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. Blend well.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.

Great cheese sauce! I cooked it on the stove on medium for about 2-5 minutes, and it tasted great. It didn't taste *amazing*, which is why it is rated with five stars. It was good for a broccoli sauce, and was a hit with the adults I cooked it for. I would recommend using this recipe.

Delicious! I made this for dipping soft pretzel bites.

I added salt, pepper, garlic powder, and ground mustard to taste, and it was a hit!
