SHORTCAKE BISCUITS 
2 c. flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. shortening

Mix, roll out 3/4 to 1 inch thickness, cut into biscuits (with glass or biscuit cutter). Bake at 450 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Great served under fresh peaches, pecans and topped with Cool Whip.
