SWEDISH COFFEE BREAD 
1 pt. milk
1 c. sugar
3/4 cube butter
1 tsp. salt
A shake of cardamon
2 pkg. active dry yeast
1 egg
2 c. flour and a little more

Let yeast stand in 1/2 cup warm water for 5 minutes; beat eggs. Mix everything together with flour and beat for 2 minutes at medium speed. Add enough flour to make a tight dough. Cover and put in a warm place to rise until double (about 1 1/2 hours.) Knead for 5 minutes on floured board.

Form into 2 loaves. Roll out and cover with butter, sugar, and cinnamon as desired. Roll up and put in 2 loaf pans; allow to rise again to double and bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
