AMBROSIA SALAD 
1/2 env. Knox gelatin
1 lg. tub Cool Whip
1 lg. (16 1/2 oz.) can fruit cocktail
1 sm. (11 oz.) can mandarin oranges (Dole, DelMonte, etc.)
2 lg. bananas
1 (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese
1/4 c. shredded coconut (optional)
1 c. miniature marshmallows
1/4 c. nuts
1/2 c. powdered sugar

Drain fruit cocktail and mandarin oranges, saving syrups. To the reserved syrup make 1 cups or add water to make 1 cup. Bring to a boil and dissolve gelatin in boiling liquid. Remove from heat and let cool. Whip in bowl cream cheese with powdered sugar and Cool Whip until smooth and creamy. Then add cooled gelatin syrup and whip until light and fluffy. Combine all fruits, nuts, coconuts (shredded), miniature marshmallow and fold in. Chill until ready to eat.
