MY OATMEAL BREAD 
1 1/2 c. dry rolled oats
3 c. boiling water
1 1/2 c. scalded milk
1/2 c. molasses
1 stick butter
1 tbsp. salt
1/3 c. soy flour
1/3 c. wheat germ
2 pkgs. yeast
12 c. flour (approx.)

In a large bowl combine oats, milk, water, molasses, butter, salt, soy flour, wheat germ and mix well. Add 2 pkgs. yeast dissolved in 1/3 cup warm water. Stir in 3-4 cups flour mixing well. Then add gradually 6-8 cups flour until dough can be kneaded lightly.

On floured board knead until smooth and free of bubbles. Let rise in oiled bowl until double (about 1 hour). Then shape into loaves. Bake in oiled tins after rising again to top of pans. Preheat oven to 375 degrees - bake 45 to 50 minutes. Will make 3 loaves. Loaves should "thump" when tapped on bottom.
