1 lb. figs
2 lbs. dates
1 lb. raisins
1 c. chopped nuts
2 c. water

Remove date stones. Put all the ingredients through the meat chopper, using coarse cutter. Add water, boil 20 minutes in double boiler. It can also be used for sandwiches or cake filling. It will keep a long time in cool places.
