VIDALIA ONION PIE 
2 lbs. Vidalia onions, peeled and thinly sliced
1/2 c. butter
3 eggs, beaten
1 c. sour cream
1/4 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. white pepper
Dash of Tabasco sauce
1 (9 inch) pastry shell, unbaked

In large skillet, saute onions and melted butter. Combine eggs and sour cream. Add to onion mixture. Stir in seasonings. Pour mixture into prepared pie shell. Top with cheese. Bake in preheated 450 degree oven for 20 minutes, then turn heat down to 325 degrees and bake until brown.
