TURTLE CAKE 
1 box chocolate extra moist cake mix
1 (12 oz.) pkg. caramels
1/2 c. evaporated milk
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped pecans

Prepare cake mix according to box directions and pour 1/2 mixture into greased and floured 9x13 baking dish. Bake 20 minutes at 350 degrees.

Melt caramels and evaporated milk in double boiler. Pour over baked cake; add layer of chocolate chips, then layer of pecans. Top with remaining batter and bake 25 minutes more. Frost if desired with cream cheese frosting.
