CHOCOLATE YUMS 
1 c. butter
1 c. chopped toasted almonds
1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. water
1 tbsp. white corn syrup
4 plain chocolate bars (Hershey)
1/3 c. chopped walnuts or pecans or almonds

Melt butter in heavy skillet. Add almonds, sugar, water and corn syrup. Cook on high heat stirring constantly. Have some dark brown sugar sitting on the stove (just to compare color). Cook candy until 1 shade darker than brown sugar. Immediately pour and spread on cookie sheet. Break chocolate bars on top of hot candy. Spread melted chocolate and sprinkle with nuts. Cool and break into pieces. Yield: 16 to 18.
