3/4 stick butter, melted
1 c. self-rising flour
3 eggs (or egg substitute)
1 pt. chopped nuts
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla flavor
1 box chopped dates

Mix butter, sugar and flour. Add rest of ingredients. Bake in loaf pan at 250 degrees about 2 hours or until toothpick comes out clean.
