1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. dry mustard
1 tbsp. salt
1 tsp. grated onion or onion juice (optional)
3/4 c. vinegar
2/3 c. salad oil
1 tbsp. celery seed
1 tsp. paprika (optional)

Mix sugar, mustard, salt and onion. Alternately add vinegar and oil a little at a time, beginning with vinegar. Beat well. Add celery seed. Cover and store in refrigerator. Serve on fresh vegetable salads or on fruit.
