WHOLE WHEAT ICE BOX ROLLS 
1/2 lb. (1 c.) Fluffo
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. salt
2 c. hot water

Mix and let cool to lukewarm.

Dissolve 2 yeast cakes and 1 teaspoon sugar in 1/2 cup lukewarm water, when dissolved add to 2 slightly beaten eggs, add this to first mixture, then add 4 cups (1 quart) whole wheat flour and beat for several minutes, then add 4 cups (1 quart) sifted white flour; mix thoroughly, put in tightly covered container and set in refrigerator.

Several hours before needed make out as you would biscuits, put about an inch apart on well greased baking sheet, spread tops thick with softened (not melted) butter. Set to rise in warm place. Bake in oven at 400 degrees; preheat oven 10 minutes.
