LEMON BARBECUE SAUCE FOR CHICKEN 
1 c. butter
1 clove garlic, minced
4 tsp. flour
2/3 c. hot water
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tsp. black pepper
6 tbsp. lemon juice
1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce
1/2 tsp. crushed leaf thyme
1 tbsp. salt

In a medium saucepan, melt butter. Add garlic; saute until garlic is fragrant, 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in flour; cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Gradually stir in water until smooth. Add remaining ingredients. Cook until slightly thickened, stirring frequently. Let stand until cool. Dip Chicken Steaks or Whole Shrimp in sauce before grilling.
