RICE KRISPIES - OATMEAL COOKIES 
1/2 c. granulated sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. vegetable oil
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. reg. oatmeal
1/2 c. Rice Krispies

Cream sugars, butter and oil. Add beaten egg and vanilla. Sift together dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture. Add oatmeal and Rice Krispies. Chill dough. Then roll in balls the size of English walnut. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Flatten with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
