BREAKFAST BRAN MUFFINS 
1 (15 oz.) box bran flakes (can be Raisin Bran)
3 c. sugar
5 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
5 tsp. baking soda
4 eggs, beaten
1 c. oil
1 qt. buttermilk or sour milk

Combine ingredients. Add last 3 ingredients, stirring only to moisten. Fill greased baking cups 2/3 full. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown. Remove from cups to cool.

Store remaining batter in covered container in the refrigerator up to six weeks. Makes 4-6 dozen.
