4 eggs
2 1/2 c. sugar
4 c. half and half
2 tbsp. vanilla
6 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt

Beat eggs until light and add sugar gradually. Add rest of ingredients. Add milk last - won't use all of milk. Be sure to leave enough room in ice cream machine container to have 2 1/2" - 3" from top.
