BROCCOLI CHEESE SOUP 
1 bunch broccoli, diced (save the flowerettes)
2 onions, diced
7-8 potatoes, cut in sm. pieces
1 bunch celery, diced
5-6 carrots, grated

Put in pan; add 3-4 cups water. Salt to taste. Boil until barely tender. Add flowerettes.

1 c. flour
1 c. butter
2 c. water

Mix as a thickening.

Bring soup to boil. Add thickening, stirring well. Add 1 quart milk or half and half. Add 1 cup grated cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper.
