MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
5 qts. freshly popped corn
1 stick butter
1/4 c. white corn syrup
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Place popcorn in double brown grocery sack. Melt butter in microwave dish. Add brown sugar, corn syrup, salt and soda; mix well. Place in microwave and bring to a boil, 30 to 60 seconds. Then boil it for 2 minutes more. Remove and stir well, pour over popcorn in bag. Stir well. Place sack in microwave on high for 1 1/2 minutes. Shake. Cook 1 1/2 more minutes. Pour onto wax paper. Cook and eat.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
