RAISED DONUTS 
2 pkgs. dry yeast
1 c. lukewarm water
2 c. milk, scalded
1 c. butter
7 c. flour (or more)
1 tsp. salt
2/3 c. sugar
4 beaten eggs
1 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Dissolve yeast in water. Cream butter, salt and sugar. Add eggs. Add yeast to milk when lukewarm and blend with 3 cups flour. Add creamed mixture and enough flour to make a soft dough. Let rise, punch down and raise again. Then roll out and cut and raise before frying in deep fat.
