SOUR CREAM AND CHEESE POTATOES 
6 to 8 med. potatoes
1/4 c. butter
8 oz. sour cream
1 c. grated cheddar cheese
1/3 c. green onions, chopped or sliced
Salt to taste

Cook potatoes in skins. Let cool, but do not refrigerate. Peel and grate coarsely. Combine all ingredients with potatoes. Put in 2 quart casserole or shallow baking pan and bake at 400 degrees until brown (about 35 minutes). If made ahead and refrigerated, allow longer cooking time.
